Kite buggying - boarding: home Wind Direction: E Wind Stength: 10 - 25mph Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: 6C Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunshine Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Had a quick blast in the field with my kite to show the family my new
acqusition I had bought abroad. Was gusty which made it impossible to fly.
Had it above my head on full power and then there was a lull where the kite
dropped into the middle of the power zone and then the big gust came
through which dragged me along the field for a good 20 metres whilst I
tried to fly it to the edge of the window but it was heading for trees so I
let go off the bar and let the safety do the rest. First time I used the
safety and was quite pleased with how it came down spiralling down. I knew
it would of been a bitch to fly in these conditions so not to be done again
inland on a gusty day. You gotta try these things once even if you know
whats gonna happen.
